Joy Behar is perhaps the last person who should be doling out sex advice, yet that’s exactly what she decided to do last week.

Behar Sounds Off
Daily Mail reported that Behar, who has been married to her husband Steve Janowitz since 2011, gave out some sex and dating advice while she joined her co-hosts on the “The View: Behind the Table” podcast. It all started when a fan called in to ask about how to keep the “energy up” in the bedroom.
“A martini on an empty stomach in the middle of the afternoon is key… and think of somebody that you really wanna sleep with!” replied Behar, 81. “People say you should think about an actor, like George Clooney or something… that’s not what I do.”
When co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked if she thinks of her “past lovers,” Behar responded, “Yeah somebody I know already, not George Clooney. Or knew… in the past.”
Guest co-host Deborah Roberts then asked if Behar is ever “worried” that she “might say their name by mistake.”
“I’m perfectly alone when I’m doing that!” Behar fired back in response.

Behar Slams Dating Apps
Behar also slammed dating apps as being “the worst.”
“I’m so glad that I’m old because this is the worst idea I’ve ever heard of,’ she said of applications such as Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble,” she said. “Online dating is the worst. Meet them at a bar, get drunk and go home with them, that’s the way to do it.”
“I would just write, ‘If you wanna know more about me, take me out for a drink…’” she continued. “I’m not telling them all my assets! No!’
Another fan admitted that she is dating three different men, one who is great in bed, one who plans amazing dates, and one who she can talk to for hours. When asked which one she should pick, Behar had a blunt response.

“I guess the one who is good in bed for me!” Behar exclaimed. “If you don’t have it at the beginning, you’ll never get it!”

Behar’s History
Behar has been married to her husband Steve Janowitz since 2011, but she dated him for 29 years before that. She was previously married to the late Joseph Behar, who was the father of her only child, from 1965 until they divorced in 1981.
“I waited until all the parents were dead,” Behar once said of why she waited so long to marry Janowitz, according to Closer Weekly.
“So I have no in-laws at all. He has none and I have none,” she added. “‘Cause marriage is mostly about in-laws, I find. They always want you to visit them and come for lasagna.”

Behar was one of the original hosts of “The View” when it premiered back in 1997, and though she was inexplicably fired in 2013, she was brought back two years later and has remained on the show ever since. She celebrated her 80th birthday in October of last year, but despite this, she has “no plans” to retire.
“I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while,” Behar told People Magazine around the time of her birthday. “I have no plans to retire.”
“It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways,” she went on to say of the ABC talk show. “Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in daytime. Most-watched! I’m happy to be a part of it. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”

Behar’s behavior is only getting more bizarre as she ages, and her latest outlandish comments on sex and dating are only proof of that. It remains to be seen how much longer the higher-ups at ABC will decide that it’s worth keeping Behar around.
